Does anyone use them when the bike is in the garage?
Can someone reccomend one that is light weight and will fit with apes?
I haven't used one consistently but I get frustrated after I detail my bike and come back two days later and there is dust and other stuff that has blown in the garage door all over the bike. Also, I had one a while back but is was heavy and coarse, seemed like it would scratch the paint.
I don't use ours in the garage, only when we are out travelling overnight.
I have a Cover Max that is supposed to fit a bagger. I would guess that it would fit a bike with apes because it fits over my windshield and still almost covers the front tire.
I bought one from a local cycle shop the other day. The cats love to jump up and sleep on the saddle of my dad's bike and I dont want them doing that with mine. I got an XL one that's suppose to fit touring bikes with windshields and all. The thing is huge on my Night Train, the bottom goes around the tires and to the floor, but the elastic in the bottoms keeps it snug around the bike. There's still plenty of room left in the rest of the cover for baggs or apes or a windshield or what ever. Infact I'm thinking of getting a smaller one. Depending on where you are in Texas (if your anywhere near the Austin area I could let you try it on before I exchange it.
