Serioulsy, go for what you like. Some like all the bags and winder shields and stuff. Personaly I like the bare bones bike. You know , motor ,frame and wheels.
I got the 05 Standard you see here. I love it man! I add my own Harley accessories whenever I want. You pay a "little" up front, and
just add on as you go, at your own financial pace. That's the fun of owning a Harley.
I went with the Standard and put on it exactly what I wanted. The bike is just to my liking, not too flashy and not too plain. Buying the Standard is cheaper, provided you don't go ape with the add ons.
Personally, I like the look of the Standard with the bobtail fender and the rake angle of the front forks. That's what sold me on it.
We`re putting money down on a standard on friday.We also like the bare bones look.Never been into bags and windshields.Just my preference.We have a long list of mods;just gotta do one at a time.
