I have a 08 Night Train, and I want to add pipes, A/C and PCIII. From what I have been reading, seems that I should be able to do all three myself. My questions are: Is there a better combo than the V&H Big Radius, SE Stage I air filter, and PC fuel mgt. Seems to be many opinions on the three. Just looking to upgrade andmake the bike run a little cooler and have a better sound.
Also, if I do these 3 myself, do I have to bring to a shop for a dyno run to fine tune? Should I just have a dealer do all three and be sure its right? Great forum, any opinions are welcome. Thanks again.
Also, if anybody has a better suggestion on any of my choices, please share.
You can do it all yourself. to me the only downside to the PCIII is if you don't like the way your bike runs with the canned map then you gotta dyno the thing. I bought PCIII for my 05' but with the canned map I downloaded from the site I was gettin a lot of decel pop. So I called power commander customer service and they had me download a different map from their site, made the bike run a bit better, but I still had some decel pop. So they talked me through how to tune out the decel pop, and it worked ok.
