Need a little help here. I am leaning towards Chubby 12.5", with the 2.5" risers this should put them around 15 or so. I am 6'2" and my buddy is trying to talk me into the 16's. I know it is personal preference, but was wondering if anyone has some input, ie ran different setups. and if yoyu have any pics that would be great.
I don't have a Springer, but I am 6'2" and have 16" Apes on my Fatboy. They are comfy, but a little illegal, depending on how you mount them. Mine are pulled forward putting my hands above my shoulders which is illegal in Illinois...but barely.
The other thing to take into account is that I think the top mounting on a Springer might be higher than a Wide Glide which might put the bars a little higher than mine. You might want to look into that. If it is true, go with 14" or 15" Apes.
