my starter is having more and more trouble turning the bike over and i should probably replace it before im stranded somewhere, any sugestions on brands or should i just get one from a stealer ship? How hard are they to instal?

pretty sure its not the battery, ive had it on a charger over night and it says its charged.
Symptoms It will get about a 1/2 crank in them seem like its not gonna turn the motor over, then after a second it starts to turn it but seems like its having trouble doing it
It could be the battery, old batteries will charge and hold 12v but will die quickly when a load is applied. Try a good hot battery with clean connections before you relace the starter.
Listening to your video, my guess is the battery. Try cleaning then tightening all the connections on the system and putting it on a tender for a few days.
As others have mentioned, it could be the battery. Perhaps a few bad cells, etc. Before investing in a new battery, you might try jumping it and see if the problem disappears.
Starters are very expensive, especially if you go with the mocoone, which is 425and some change
They take about 4+hours if you know what you are doing for a removal and replacement.
