I am looking for some highway bars, and footpegs that mount to the, What is the best rout to go on this on my Heritage ? I am not sure what all options i have? Thanks for any advance ............ My bike is A 2008, if that helps ...
One more question, if you have this setup, does it seem to work well ?
I got the Harley highway bars 49004-00 (not the nostalgia, the 11/4" ones) and the 50500-03 chrome and rubber footpegs. I mounted the footpegs as low as I could so now I rest my heels on the floorboards and my feet on the pegs. It is really comfortable. Ride that way all the time now except to shift and brake. Hope that helps.

I have the same set-up on my '08 Fatty. except I used the rear pegs, which I had replaced with some cool ones from HD..... maybe next payday, I can afford a matchingset for the crashbar.
Voyager1,
Installed the crash bar and then installed peg extension 50830-07 with Crested pegs 50576-05. PLaced the pegs just King9 so I could leave my heels on the boards. Used peg extension to move the pegs closer to me as I have short legs. Putting your feet out on longer rides is a butt saver.
Rick
The bar bolts right on with 3 bolts. 10 min.job.
I put on the bar the first day I got the bike.
I put on the HD 360 degree adjustable peg mounts and the rubber and chrome pegs.As stated above I adjusted them so my heals are on the boards and the toes on the pegs. Very comfortable.
Sounds great. Thanks for this info ! As a sidnote , i raised my handlebars forward several inches today . much much better . Dealers never seem to set these things up right ?
I have an 08 Deluxe and opted to go with Kuryakan Extended Cruise arms mounted to the frame. They are adjustable at two points and I have them set up so I can rest my heals on the floor boards and toes on the cruise arm pegs. Can also stretch out and rest my heals on the pegs. I wear a riding boot with a thick sole and can keep my heals on the boards and toes up on the pegs through most gears. The lip on the sole is comfortably under the shifter peg at about mid foot and allows me to shift without moving my feet off the pegs. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3754
