Default Street Slammer bars

I'm looking at the street slammer bars for my 06 softail std. The stock bars are a to close. I'm 6'2" with a long reach. I have a C&C solo seat witch is so comfortable (only 300 miles on it but love all ready) and that gives me a little room. Just want to know if the street slammer's are better than stock, when it comes to hand position. Plus they look so cool on some bikes.[sm=crossbonesgif.gif][sm=biker.gif]

I've got the street slammers on my 07 Fatboy and I really like them. I'm only about 5'9", so I have to lean forward a bit when riding, but it feels really natural. I think the orientation of these bars are far more ergonomic than most handlebars because of the way you don't have to bend your wrists to grab ahold.

I'm also 5'9" and love the fit. Honestly, the slammer barswere one of the few things on my "must have" list when I was looking for a bike.

I have em on my NT. At 6'2" I love them for short trips. For longer trips, I could have them a bit closer for comfort. If I had to do it over again, I would choose the same bars.

Here's a pic of my bike just minutes after the Street Slammer installation was complete. If I had to do it all over again I think I would go with the Wildones. Their cheeper and the actual ends of the bars (grips)don't point downward, their more level. I'm pretty happy though, their way better than the stock bars!

Here's some Carlini's and a CandC solo with Ness 3" extended controls on my Train. I'm only 6-0 but have long legs and these are pretty comfortable for me. Between all the bars out ther you should be able to find some that will work for you.
