Great choice of pipes.
I went with them and also did the SERT with the SE intake.

Thanks for all of the detailed information PoorBoy. All of your posts are really informative.

I have a set of BSS arriving today and hopefully will attempt the install this weekend. I ordered the PCIII but I'm afraid it won't fit on my '06 FB with the Brawler seat. Do you know if the Fuel Pack has a smaller footprint? I'm also wondering if I can cut out the back of the supplied tray and extend it deeper using the stock tray and duct tape (did he say duct tape?). I'd just have to make sure I leave enough clearance. The fuse idea is clever but may be outside of my skill set. The pipe install looks pretty straight forward but I, like you, have read instructions over and over just to be safe. I'll post some pics afterwards.

Thanks for the cudos; but this is what this forum is all about. Helping out a brother.

The FuelPak and PCIII are almost identical size. Don't know about the PCIII, but the FuelPak stays cool to the touch and can go anywhere the cables let it reach. The ECM gets a little warm and is why they have some cooling fins (to increase surface area).

Just keep an eye on your PCIII, and let us know. Looking forward to the pics!!!!

Poorboy,

I'm going to do the install myself. Ive done it many a time with sports bike , so it should be more easy to do on the harley ( since there is a bit of room to get at it

Re the fuelpak, I will check out the fitting position and follow your thread regarding this.

As said above , your post are very informative ...[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Yeppers it a screamin eagle intake.
I love the look but I have to oil the filter often as it gets dried out fast.
If I had to over again I would have gone with a closed airfilter set up.
LOL Gotta keep a rain sock handy.

Txfatboyz, I do not mean to intrude, but what do you mean by "oil the filter" how and why do you have to oil the air filter?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
