No shock interference problems on my '06 Fatboy. (although the shocks are VERY close to the lifting pads on the jack) . I must have the China shocks, instead of the beefier Milwaukee ones.....

That jack looks really nice, however it looks like it sits kinda high. I know I really haftawork my jack to get under my bike, and it's just one of those old foot opreated red ones. The bike sits at stock height too.
I can just cleanlyslide the yellow jack under my Fatboy with the bike resting on the sidestand.
Mayfair, next time you want to easily get your jack under your bike, lay down a piece of 3/4" plywood or something on the floor in front of the front tire and drive up on the wood, now you have some extra height to slide your jack under the bike.

The yellow jackslides under my Custom on the jiffy stand with plenty of clearance even with the bright orange, hey dummy don't forget to take me off frame protectors on the bike.
Trailfndr,
I don't care how "good" a jack is "supposed" to be. I firmly believe that the day they make onethat's idiotproof, a bigger idiot will show up.
So havingno illusions about my ownimmunity from the ocacasional touch of idiocy. I always strap my bike down, just in case.
To me itsnothing more thancheap insurance.
I usually back my bike into my garage and kick the jack under my bike and kinda kick it up with my foot all while sitting on it. That jack looks like it would be easier to jack up useing a handle instead of your foot. Looks easier to lower as well. I'll hafta measure to see just how high off of the floor my bike sits.
