Today a friend asked me what is a good quarter mile time for a Softail with Stage1. I didn't know what to tell him, but I am guessing about 13 flat. Please tell me some real times You have made or seen. Thanks, Wallace in Ga

04 Black Softail Standard
13 flat? sounds about right. On a beautiful day it takes me about 13 minutes to go through a nearby state park entrance which is about a 1/4 mile in from the main road.
There are probably 400 bike models out there that will easily beat a Harley down the blacktop. But I guarantee none of them will move your soul any quicker than a Harley can.
I'd also be interested in knowing. Anyone got any real numbers for various models? I may have to make one or two runs down the 1/4 mile strip just for the sake of knowing, not that I really care. The only time I ever get on mine hard is when I wanna blast some stupid cager's eardrums.
