Something I haven't thought about is the factory ecm will go into heat management mode if the motor starts over heating.

Today i was stuck in traffic and had the engine light come on and start flashing.
My engine was extremely hot and i was unable to pull over due to the road circumstances.
The light was on for around 20 min with the bike almost to hot to sit on.
(not good at all)
My question is would i have done any damage and if so would it be obvious to me or should i get it checked out.?
