calling eveyone that owns one of these great machines ...how do you like them..? ...how do they handle compared to the others being they have the thicker tire on the front..? saw one today at the dealership two tone copper and black chrome lots of it it was beautiful....so beautiful I maybe getting a divorce over it...JK opinions please
I was looking at an Anniversary Superglide, or an 07 Wide Glide. I thought the Fat Boy was out of my price range until I found a dealer that was willing. Always loved them. They look nice and beefy. They handle quite nice for a big bike. They're slow stock, but I didn't get a Harley to canyon maul. They can be a cruiser, or add bags, windshield, etc., and you have a touring bike. I think all Harley's kick ***, but the Fat Boy does it for me, and most importantly.....Chicks Dig Em.
I think mine was about 19200 out the door at 5% apr.
You can buy under msrp and get extras and also cut the deliver charge in half.
I sold my sportster on craigs list for 300 more than new and had 10,000 miles on it.
Don't have one, but I have ridden a couple and they are really nice riding bikes.
I think it would be an excellentchoice for anyone who doesn't want or like the"extras" on a Heritage or any of the bigger baggers.
But still wants the option (with a windshield and a good set of bags) togo the distance or just leave it alone andbomb aroundfor the day.
Owned a Sporster before my Fatty. Sporster felt more nimble, but the fatty is stable with both beefy tires. plus the FL forks realy absorb alot of the road shock. And yes...chicks DO dig em@!
the moment I saw mine on the floor...I bought it...and have enjoyed it since...one of a kind these fatties...there are also called power cruisers...and with mild mods it sure is...you will not be disappointed...but then there are styles of bikes for the style of riding you do...[sm=biker.gif]
