I`ve pondered getting one before, but they look like they sit too high on the bike.I think you would have to cut it up to make it more streamlined.Lot of money to cut up!Get a decent used one one ebay for an FLT and get it modified.I`m thinking about it.Toby
Took a bit to get it to work, but I like what it adds when I want to tour. Keeps the wx off me and the wife, cuts down the wind, and protects the hands. The aftermarket ones even have an inner fairing which will hold a stereo if you want to go that route.
I'm working on fabricating detachable brackets for it so I can choose when I want it on, and when not. I like riding it both ways.
I think I'll call the guy tomorrow and find out more about it, like who the maker is. He did tell me it mounts on the windshield brackets so its removable and has a stereo and speakers. I'd still need it painted to match my scoot and I have 4 inch risers on my bars, so that may change the look and fit too. He took it off his HSC before he traded it in on his HT. I think it sticks up a bit too high in front as well, but I dont mind looking funny riding as long as I'm riding. And it would be just for a few months a year or a long trip now and then. My round trip daily ride is 45 miles all at hiway speed and shift work, so at 10pm it's a bit chilly, even here in Texas.
