I've used a Battery Tender for a couple years as well and have never had any problems with it.

I have both HD and Battery Tender Plus. Both work well and no problems...

I don't have a battery tender, but I do have two battery chargers, one of which I periodically put on the bike in the garage on lowest charge (2 amps) overnight about once a month during the non-riding months. I have several batteries that I trickle during the winter from two boats, 66 C10, etc. Tenders like you bought are less labor because they are plug and forget. I don't mind the tinkering as I'm out in the garage (it's heated) evenings and weekends during the winter playing anyway. After Jan. 30 I can play full time as I will be retired. Its not even officially winter yet and I'm longing for spring. Sounds like your tender will work fine.

I just bought the same one from Chicago HD and so far have had no issues with it. I attached the provided plug-in permanetly to the battery and routed the plug where it is basically out of sight but easy to plug in. I live in NW Louisiana and ride almost year around but sometimes we do have several weeks of bad weather where the chargermight be required. The waterproof feature is just added security against moisture getting into the unit. I have used it and it performs flawlessly. Hope that helps.

I Just Got The Battery Tender Waterproof 12volt 800 Milliamp and 1.25 Amp,, Is This A Good One I Have No Idea.
I Am Useing It On My 2003 Softail Heritage Classis And My 2003 Sportster Hugger.
Any Help On If This Charger Is What I Need Will Be Helpful
Thank You
Harley03joe
Seems you have it already and now you are asking if it is a good one?

The smaller one is a better deal(.75) but yours will work fine. You can also switch it from bike to bike weekly to do both bikes with no problems. It's also best to draw some power from the bike periodiocally like with the lights on, and then recharge again. There will be more activity in the battery doing this and will keep the plates from sulfating. The small charge that the battery tenders put out isn't enough to do this. It just maintains the charge.
