How to attach exhaust baffle??
I have a 2002 Softail Heritage with SE II slip-ons. The rivet that holds the baffle in one of the exhaust tubes is loose--rattles bad.
I tried reaching in with a big pair of channel locks to squash the rivet tight, but the rivet material is too hard for that.
What's the best way to reattach the baffle??

My SEII's use 2 bolts and nuts to hold in the baffle. I would either drill out the rivet or grind off the head with a dremmel and replace with a bolt. BTW, nice choice with the Heritage.
These se II slip-ons were purchased new in 2002--not sure when manufactured.
I was thinking of using a nut and bolt, but was concerned about it coming loose. I figured that loctite wouldn't take the heat. I suppose a certain kind of locknut might work.
The existing rivet looks larger than the kind that would fit my pop-rivet tool.
