I think you will find the fatboy more comfy.. of all the sportsers I had i think the 69 was the smothest, course the 56 was nt bad, the biger hogs to me seem to be more comfy, and have more tork.
Get the fatty for sure. It's like night and day....actually I can't really say that for sure since I've never rode a Sporty, but we could always make room for more FB up in here!
got a o4 fat boy most comfortable bike I ever rode
last year left Bangor maine at 7.00am got to toronto ontario
12.00 midnight 17.hr only stoping for gas
butt was ok shoulders a bit sore
The Fatboy is a great bike - just don't get a black one! We have enough black ones : )
Just kidding! I love that black / chrome combo. It's mean, lean, and ba ba ba bad to the bone.
Wow, thanks everybody for your opinions. Now comes the fun part. Cha-ching!! By the way, I forgot to mention. The sporty does have a touring seat and backrest. But I was still looking at comfort on the long hauls. Me thinks I will have to corner the wife after work today and tell her we are taking a little road trip (1 mile, hehehehe). We'll go talk turkey with the stealer and see what they have to say.
Again, thanks everybody. This will be hard to get rid of "Lava" . But I think it will be for the better.
