went to dealer to check out the blue rocker on the floor. i looked at it for quite awhile. love the rear tire. not sure about the way stretched tank blends to the seat. think the seat could have been designed for more of a feel of being inside the bike... feels a bit high and hard. believe the reason they couldnt sink it any lower is because of passenger pillion storage. i have read good handling reviews on the bikethough and would like to take one for a cruise sometime.
they were telling me that one of the true benefits of the rocker was the passenger pillion which can actually be taken into the bar and utilized for sizing up the perfect fitting passenger at closing time.
i like the bike. i'm curious to seehow it sellsover the next year or two.
Here's the thing....most of our bikes are butt ugly when stock. I don't like the Rocker but someone will chop one up and change my mind I'm sure of it. Let's just wait and see.
your mama must not have taught you manners or if you cant say something nice keep your f%@#ing mouth shut. Cant you express your opions in a nicer less sarcastic way. People would have much more respect for you and your opinion.
My dealer was told when i was ordering my Deuce that the 08 Deuce would have a 240 rear... kinda i guess. That tricked out rocker does look A LOT better than the stock... the stock looks aweful, but i think i could get used to it.
Oh yeah, I dont recall saying your bike was ugly. Its a fine bike IMHO.

Its funny how all the negative sarcasm, seems to come from those of you with 06 and 07 bikes. I would feel the same way if something better came out the next year. Like the ROCKER. Thats life though, face it.
If someone told me my bike was blah and bland, I wouldn't interpret it as "Hey, that's a fine bike!" But I have an '05 and an '06, so I must be REALLY negative anyway.
I think you shouldn't get hung up on what others think of it, if you like it, buy it. I think it doesn't live up to the hype, but it will probably hold it's own.
Maybe the cold is making folks testy........to recap, it looks like Mother doesn't particularlylikeRockers, though his dislike is not for any one person's Rocker, just Rockers in general........however Steve thinks Mother's Deuce is so blase' and blahthat he doesn't deserve to have an opinon........grammatical and puncutation use has become an issue..........I say have a beer after an English class and ride each other's bikes to a titty bar andget over it....[sm=partyparty.gif]
