I used ones like that got them off ebay for 17.00 when i got them i took off my shocks took them to local shop "harley" cost me 50.00 to have them press and change out the studs went home reinstalled shocks and adjusted ride ht. wasn't to hard to do droped 2 inches ride way stiffer
but to me well worth the look.
I have these ones from Arlen Ness. I bought them and decided not to lower.
If anyone is interested I will sell them for $35.00 shipped
They are the ones all the way on the right 2000-up Softail http://shop.arlenness.com/productdet...;Product_ID=27
i went with the arlen ness slam kit. lowered 1 inch in front, 2 in rear and includes new kickstand. looks great, rides great About $400 but you get what you pay for (sometimes)
The ones with the bushings are the SAME as theones that"lindnersreds"is showing except they come with bushings and are chrome. Can't see them anyway so the chrome is a big waste.
I bought the cheap kit of ebay took of my shocks had harley press them out /in for me all told it was 35 for labor and 15 for the kit rides a little rougher but I lowerd the front 2" as well. It looks so much better though and I've done 400 mile days on it so it's not that bad
