I like the look of springers, but have never ridden one, so can't comment on the performance. But to give you the obligatory bad time, you outta change the seat on that custom! Looks kinda like a big slug. (kiddin, you have a good looking ride)

That's alright, though. I like my "slug" seat. It replaced the stock seat, which I guess would look like a fatter slug.

Rake it and spring it!
Springers work great with raked bikes because they still move where as telescopic forks just flex the tubes.
I am also considering a springer for my FXST.
OT - is your bike lowered front and rear or just rear. I like the look but didn't want my frame to be too off horizontal with just a lowered rear.

Yeah and i disagree with the springer headlight shaking....It has never been discussed with the springer guys....Mine don't shake, but my buddies Duece shakes like a ****..
