I was just checking out the HD site and noticed a new Softail called the "Cross Bones"...mini apes, sprung seat and round breather! I like the look.... Check it out:
Yup, this is a new bike... New from Tuesday... So were the million other threads in all forums about it... Getting some mixed reviews, but most in favor of it.
I think it's a great lookin' bike, and at Corbin, we're already figuring out how to get rid of that spring seat that quite a few dis like.

Methinks it's going to outsell the Rocker.=P

I actually like that spring seat. I want one for my Springer Classic. There are quite a few out there that I like better but the one on the CB has a cover for the ECU and battery. Now, I just have to hunt down the part number for it...
I love the Springer but as others have said in other threads and forums, for a bike to look that good and chopped it should have been done by a serious artist with steel and something that is a blank canvas. I love the black look but I just get the feeling that the CB is cheating a little since you buy it looking custom as is. I would take one if given one but I prefer the look of my Springer. If and when I need something dark I'll get a Fat Bob or Night Rod.
Hi,I am also interested in finding out the part number for the under seat frame cover and spring set up from the new cross bones, have you had any luck,?
Soon, if not already, dealers will have a parts manual for that model under the counter. They'll have the OEM part numbers for everything on the bike. You can get it from that.
Great work on that springer.I have a softail springer and I am really wanting to give it that spring seat look, where can you pick up the under seat frame cover?I am in Spain-Europe so any help would be appreciated.
