Radial engines don't leak that bad. But they do spit a hell oflot out when they are running.
One figure I heard was that they only recover about 20% of the oil that's put in.
Probably why every time you fuel up, it takes GALLONS of oil for each engine to top it off.

They made enonghWright Cyclone engines that there's little shortage of parts for the forseeable future. They have used the same engine or a version of it in an incredablenumber ofdifferent aircraft.
As for the planes most were cut up for scrap or used for target practice so even though Boeing made something north of 10,000 of them. Many of theparts are in some cases unobtainable and have to be custom fabricated. Even at that the odds are thatthe ones still flying, especially in the US are in better shape today than the day they left the assembly line.
If I were you I would trade. You could buy an entired line of Harleys with the profit from selling that old beauty and have money left over.
It's a great Flying fortress, but personally, I prefer the B-25.
