WTF thats insane, mebe to much air, def a prob there.
I run a 200\50\18 Metzler on a 5.5 inch custom custom spoke rim. If I understand correctly you mentioned that you were able to fit the 210\40\18.
Is that also a Metzler? I noticed Metzler makes a 210 for the Yamaha Raider, I was wondering if I could put that same tire on my custom wheel on my Fatboy. I realize you cant speak on clearances so my question is will the 210\40\18 fit on my 5.5 inch rim?
I tried one and though I thought it would be impossible to wear out faster than the 200/17 but it won hands down. Another problem I had is I've a newer Fatboy Lo and they came with radial tires. No one I've found makes a radial in 18". I do notice a lower quality of ride from the bias ply 18's. It was a case of me not doing my homework when I got this great deal on PM 18" wheels. I've sense went back to the 17 on the rear with a car tire but can't seem to give up my Purdy 18 up front with it's matching 13"brake and six piston caliper.
