Has anyone done an HID conversion to there Softail. I have a 2005 FLSTCI and cant figure out where to put the ballast. If anyone has done a conversionwhat did you fit and where the hell did you hide the ballast?

No problems. You can cut the wires & run them through the frame. The only thing you can not do is cut between the starter & bulb. the whole unit goes into the headlight bucket. They are very small. Hi & low on both in one light. You use your same plug that is on your headlight/plug for the hi/lo handlebar switch. an extra (+) must be run along with a ground (included in the harnass & harness extension. You nay need a 6' extension for an extra $11, that is your choice where you put the balast. The balast is very small & you can hide it under or behind your oil tanl ou under or between your gas tank. I put mine between the gas tank. Go [here]
