Default today-deluxe hot to trot at 260 dg
Rode in the Joe Cain parade today in Mobile Alabama. Checked my digital therm and it read 260 degrees. I had to abandon the parade. THis was at 70 degrees and stop and go for an hour. My bike usualy runs at about 220. It is a 2006 with 14,000 miles on it.[8D]

Synthectic oil can handle 260 degrees (not much more though).
But i couldn't handle the stop and go fo and hour.......

260 isnt really that hot, start to get up to 300, you should start thinking about moving for a while or to stop and let her cool off.

that is one reason I never look at my gage
I don't want to know and 260 doesn't mean a thing to me
just ride the thing
oh I also don't have a tach. for the same reason don't know don't care..
