Default Installing Z-bars...

I picked up some 1-1/4 Z-Bars and started the install yesterday. The bars are made to run wires internally only and I was not looking forward to tackling the task.

Sooooo, I pulled everything apart, pulled the wires out of the plugs and got to it.

First I had to run a shoe string through the bars and I used one long enough so I could pull the wires all the way through without pulling either end of the string through. This way I didn't have to keep running the guide line back through after each wire.

I tried all the wires at once and it wasn't going to happen. I worked one wire at a time until they were all through, I shrink wrapped everything nicely and they turned out nicely, after about 3 hours.

For anyone considering Z-bars with internal wires I suggest meditating beforehand because I was cursing and throwing crap like there was no tomorrow after getting the wires jammed up in the bars countless times.

It sucked for sure, but once the job is all done it's going to look bitchin'. I'll post pics when it's all together. Just waiting on some risers.

Here's a shot of the bars I used.
