I just did the install this weekend. I'm no "wrench" but I got through it ok.
Bleeding the brakes is the biggest pain, at least for me anyway.

I think the Ness kit serves its purpose as far as giving the rider more leg room, but if I would have had the money, I would have gone with Accutronix forward controls. They look good and are smooth too. I had a set of Accutronix on my old VTX, best mod I had.

I just recieved my extensions yesterday and was looking over my bike before the install. I noticed that the kick stand is attached to the forward control frame. Does the extension of the stand offset the balance of the bike while leaning? Also I am comfortable working on vehicles with 4 wheels not 2, what is the best and cleanestway to bleed the brakes? thanks

the kick stand thing is nothing to worrie about. the only change you willl notice iswhen you put the stand down and park the bike the bike will lean more not a big deal.the reason for this is the kick stand is moving 3in as well. when i bleed my breaks i have a buddy how owns a shop and he had a break bleeder. we bleeded my break in about 2 mins. i would look or ask around and see if you can find someone who has one that will save you a lot of time. bleeding the other wayWILL take a month of sundays and is no fun lol. good luck
