Hey guys. Just got my first real mod done. Moved my lic plate to the axel, and my buddy cut away the extra from my brake light housing. I'm real happy with the way it came out. Hope you like..
Well, the axel whole was undersized, so we had to dremel it bigger. The plate finish is a really nice powder black. I had to remove the washer to make it all fit right. Was pretty easy, and I couldn't be happier with the plate..
Hey WG ... That looks great. Do you have the lighted License plate bolts? How well do they illuminate your plate? What did you use to trim back around the lrear light?

I did get the lumination bolts, but haven't wired them up yet. Honestly, I'm probably not going to. The light under the brake light is bright enough and lights up the rear tire and the plate. The whole tail light assembly is plastic, and my buddy used a jewelers saw to cut the extra out. Then we used a fine grit bit on our dremel to clean up the plastic hairs that were made with the saw, and fine tune the shape. After that I used extra fine sand paper, to smooth everything out. It was still a bit grey looking, so I used a permenant black marker and went over the cuts. You can not tell it's been cut now. It was actaully really easy. But, the saw really did do the trick.
