Just bought a Blk Rocker C and I would like to remove the reflectors but I have no idea what works as far as a chemicals that will remove them without damaging the paint. I also don't know if they are required for inspection in the State of Texas? Any help would be appreciated.
But..... slide some dental floss or fishing line behind the reflectors and start dragging down through the goo.
After the reflectors come off, a little elbow rubbing and mild cleaner (or goof-off) will clean the rest for you. Add back some wax or spray cleaner & wax combo, and you'll never see where the reflectors were.
Every bike out there looks better with the reflectors off. A little two-sided tape for each inspection period will get you through the look-over. The Floss or Fishing line will keep those reflectors in one piece for you.
