IMO I would definelty swap that tractor seat...and thats from a guy that loves thy ol' school.
I would also throw some wrap on a set of aftermarket pipes...think it would really flow nice.
That a$$ end needs slammed too...sit her on the ground!
I really do like the bike, and was kinda curious why HD would drop the Springer Classic...and now I see why, almost wish I wouldn't have been so impatient!
I can't wait to see an Olive Pearl one...so if ya got one, please post some good High Quality pics.
Lastly, you cross bone owners need to come spicen up the Springer Thread. We look forward to you guys dropping by.
I picked my new bike up Saturday and put a hundred miles on it so far (not bad for February in Canada)
I've order the V & H Tracker 2 into 1 exhaust and I'll do a stage one when that comes in
Looks pretty good, except that those pipes are way too high.
Kinda look like the fatboy stock pipes, at least as high as they ride.
2-1 would help immensely.
Other than no place for your pretty girlfriend to sit.
It looks ok, albeit a little nostalgic.

I know the feeling. I am thinking about trading my '07 on the first one in NZ. The problem is what they will give me for my '07. The US/NZ dollar rates mean that HD prices dropped about $3k from last year. I have also thought about changing guards and pipes on the '07 but that 200 rear tire is pretty damn nice!
Hey Sarge,
How drastic was the seating when you swapped the seat. I am 6Ft and right now the riding position is pretty comfortable between the arm position and the leg position on the boards. I do like the brawler seat though.

I love mine! I swapped the seat with a Brawler solo and now it is almost perfect. Well, except for wantingahi-flo intake, exhaust, PCIII, 16" Chubbies, rear turn signal mod, front turn signal mod..........
How'd you guys know those "other" seats would fit?
It's the same frame/fender they've always had. Any seat should work.
Any seat for a 200mm rear tire softail should fit. Seats for 06 and earlier Softails probably won't work. I think all seat makers have different models for 07+ Softails--the frame is probably a little wider due to the fatter tire, but I don't know for sure.
I dont often think this but I would never change the spring seat, maybe the material or the color but that seat is sweet, dont change the seat its perfect!!
I just bought a CrossBones. I must say it is the nicest riding Harley Ive ever ridden. Ive owned Dynas, FXRs, Softails, FLs, you name it. Im really impressed with this bike!
