My brother has a set on his Fatboy and I think they look good, but he doesn't have an engine guard. I am not sure about adding them when I have the highway pegs on my engine guard. Does anyone have the extenders and also have the engine guard with highway pegs. If yes, how to you like the setup? Thanks,
Tnicean
Chris - thanks for your response one the availability of Softail Deluxe mods using the available equipment. I think at this time I'll move my floorboards outward using the Harley Goodies kit for my '08 Deluxe then hope for the best on future developments. I'd like to move them forward using the "D" shaped boards but I'm kind of stuck on thelook of the Deluxe tapered boards. As a tall rider (6' 3"), I'm looking for any benefit I can get on my "classic" bike. Love the look, need help on positioning.

It sucks that you cant move the tapered boards forward, but as an alternative, you can get the Kuryakyn MK III or MK IV highway pegs to give you more options for foot placement, or you could also add a crash bar (or if you prefer engine guard) and mount pegs to that. There are a lot of different ways to getmore leg room, its just a matter of which way you like to look at the most.
