Engine back to black
i got hold of some Wynns bumper and plastics trim and sprayed my engine to see If it would bring it up.
It seems to do a nice job, drove it several miles and it is still nice and black but showing signs of burning of by the front exhaust pipe.
will this harm the engine and will S100 be any better

If it is for plastics I probably would not use it on metal& ormetal that gets hot like the engine.Is there any small print on the back of the bottle with warnings about applications & use?
There is a product in a spray can I have found at different HD dealerships called pig spit, it is safe for engine use and made to bring back the black in the motor & also shines up chrome. It will look spotty at first on some of the chrome due to overspray but just rub it in & or wipe off. Will not burn off with heat. I have no answer on the S100 stuff never used it, just giving my 2 cents on a simular product I have used B4.

I use s100 and it works really good. To get the black back I use anything with oil in it. It brings back the black and does not fad with the heat.
