2003 Fatboy: Speedo needle does not move, signals do not disengage, and idle is low. I cleaned the speedo sensor, which did not have any shavings, which did not fix the problem. I also checked the speedo diagnostics and it all checked out. Does anyone believe it to be the voltage regular? Or am I barking up the wrong tree....
Any feedback will be appreciated...
Did you replace the speedo sensor? I had the same problem andevery time I replaced the speedo sensoreverything worked again. I noticed that after this happened once it became a regular thing. I finally ditched my stock speedo.
I know this may sound stupid, but have you checked your battery cables? I had a similar problem, but mine would die every now and then as well. I checked everything but the battery cables and after a couple of weeks I figured what the hell. Sure enough, one of the cables was very loose. I tightened it up and everything was fine. Never hada problem again.
