2 into 1 is one of the best for power. What were your numbers with the 2 into2 HP/TQ
I do not know how much difference my pipes and AC made over stock. I bought mine with it already done. I had one run on a dyno to see where I was at
67.29hp
75.45 TQ
Stock 88ci withthe HD download.
I don't think that is to bad for a 88ci motor. Two different dyno shops told me my map looked great for a HD download. No lean areas at all. Little rich in a couple spots. They could get 3-4 hp with a tuner. At this point not worth the money to me for a little bit. I believe the downloads were a lot different in 05 than they aresince the 07's came out. EPA

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I did get the dyno tune. I had all this work done at Cycle Visions an Indy in San Diego, good outfit.

I did notice some change in performance, but my question really is this:

Will I notice more change if I go to a different pipe??

For example the big radiius two into one?
No, your not going to get much difference, maybe a little but won't give you a drastic change... By the way, nice bike, nice color choice!!!!!!! Almost looks like mine!! lol

LOL!!!

You have good taste!!

Perhaps a cam change? A set of D&D Fatcats? = a bit more power and torque. Or, Do a build to 103, 107 or....
Maybe check out
http://www.gmrperformance.com/GMR_Performance_Map.htm

or other recommended builders mentioned on the forum, and or local Indy wrench in your area.

Cheers,

mark

Cycle Visions are a bunch of hacks when it comes to mechanical work, and expensive too. I have seen more than one bike that they have "dyno tuned" that they charged a whole lot of money, replaced a whole bunch of parts that didnt need to be. Although it is a great place to pick up parts that most places would have to order, but you do pay for it. I live in SD to, you might want to give Lee's cycle center a call, they are a dyno jet tuning company, Im sure they will do a much better job than Cycle Visions did.

CAMS And Head Work, ignition and airflow also bore and then if still not enough stroke but it most cost effective to plan the build ahead of time and make everything compatible. then you find a really good dyno guy to tune it one thats got experience and its a good idea to go through his porfolio of work kinda like a tattoo artist.

I think those duals are probably a major part of your problem. A good2-1 will perform much better in the low and mid range which is whereyou spend the vast majority of your riding time. Also, you might ask around in here about who is the best dyno tuner in your area. If you really want some serious gains, cams are your next most cost effective step. Don't waste your time with Screamin Eagle stuff if you do that.

Had the same conversation with Luxe on this forum. I was considering the duals which he installed but was concerned about power loss...more precisely loss of low end torque. Luxe too noticed a drop in low end but had planned to install 203 or 204 cams...don't recall which....and he claims he then gained back all of the lost low end.He has a video/sound clip of his with the cams installed on this forum. A lot of guys have noticed loss of power but the damn pipes look so good on a Deluxe. I think most will agree that power gains or torque gains will be felt most through a 2-1 system...V&H radius or some model of Supertrapp which is somewhat tuneable...if you don't want to pay for a cam upgrade. On my 07 Deluxe I upgraded the intake running a Kuryakyn with K&N filters and pushed it out a pair of 1.75 Rush mufflers in the stock configuration. The change was noticable.

Here is my experience with a 06 Heritage. I did a stage 1 .... Piples and down load (didnt need tuner bike ran fine with out) and I got I know over 10 percent increase in power per dyna. Exact increase I forgot but I remember the dealer said over 10 percent with a paper read out from dyno machine to prove it. I am thinking between 12 and 15 but dont hold me too it. Hold me to at least 10 percent increase. Now the sick thing is if my 88 is 10 percent more now WOW would it have been a turtle if I left it stock. I did screaming eagle II slip ons with Big City Monster baffles in them. Remember BACK PRESSURE is your friend. You go straight duels with out something to give proper back pressure your killing your torque and HP. You must test your bike to see if a down load is ok for 2006 and younger or if you need a tuner. If you have 2007 or 2008 you MUST get the tuner to get proper fuel to bike and get most torque and Horse Power. Some 2006 and later models need the tuner. Since I have slip ons with Big City Monster Baffles I didnt need a tuner. Some bikes set up like mine do though. 2006 and before seems to be funny how each engine needs what individually. Sounds crazy but I promise you its true. Crapy dealers want your money. My dealer that services my bike want my loyalty and they know they will get my dollars so they dont lie to me about what I need. My bike tested fine with just down load. Some dont. Pends on the bike on or before 2006 from what they have told, taught, and proved to me.
