The longshots are not the same as the Big Shots Long. The Longshots are regular 2-2 pipes where as the big shots long have their "power chamber" which I believe is a crossover between the two pipes. It's the Big Shots that V&H claims to deliver the performance of a 2-1 (price is higher on these as well). However I have only heard the Longshots and they sound real nice!
I have a v @ h long shots on my bike, pipes sound great w/out the baffles.
If you even want them louder a buddy of mine has the longshots and cut 6"
off them and it made his bike almost twice as loud as my bike. As far as torque
and hp i dont how much it gets in them areas. From my point of view the pipes
sound great. IA
I installed a set of V&H Longshots on my bike and shortly after that had my 10K
Service done, where they installed the "Stage One Kit", I had it DYNOED w/o
the baffles. I love the performance and the sound. I also get awesome fuel
mileage too.
I have the V&H longshots with baffles. I don't know a lot about the increased performance because I have had these on the bike since new. The sound is great IMHO. When you get on it they really come to life.
I have the Longshots HS on mine and love em. I put the Screamin Eagle A/C and Vance and Hines Fuel Pak. Noticed more power on acceleration. I ordered mine from morepoweracing.com free shipping and as long as you dont live in Washington State no tax. Just make sure they have what you want in stock, they take forever on backorder items. Much luck
I love mine, they really , really don't suck. Bought the bike with them on it so I can't tell you about the difference between these and the stock pipes, but with the baffles in they are real throaty, when you get on it they sing a little.
