Default Alarm Install

I also posted this in the electrical section but it is softail specific so here goes,

I'm installing the smart rfid security system in a 2007 softail standard.

The instructions leave alot to be desired.

The only 2 things I haven't found are the location to put the small plastic bracket that holds the rfid reciever, and the default manual disarm code.

If any one knows what I am talking about and can put me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks

Gord

I beleive you can get to the disarm code, and change itby finding the procedure in the instructions in the bikes owners manual. Make sure you have the FOB present. Sorry, I can't answer the second part of your question.

You dont use the bracket. The reciever slides onto a small tapered fitting under the seat right by the battery.
I went through the sequence of marrying the TSM to the bike (1/2 hr) so I could start the bike however I had to take in it to activate FOB system and that is when they programmed the code. Make sure you ask them for the disarm number. You can change it later.

A question for you -- I lost my little book-- how do you put the alarm into extended stoarge mode ?
