Don't sweat the bars if you like the Train. Changing bars to give a few more inches of pullback is cheap and easy. If you want apes or lots of pullback you will have to change cables too, but whats a few hundred more in parts when you are talking about a 17K+ ride? I put some big'uns Tbars on after the first 1000mi, and used stock cables.
I am thinking about buying a night train & wanted to know if anyone here who has one - has issues with the stock handlebars? Alot of people I have talked to say that their hands go numb when riding this bike? I like this bike but due to the weather I have not gotten to test ride it.......ANYONE?
I changed my bars/risers about 4 times. I went with some comfortable bars at one point but it just didn't look right on a Night Train so Iwent back to a drag bar look. When I go for long rides I usually ride one handed and just move my arms every now and then for circulation. I'd rather look cool than be comfortable.LOL

I had a Superglide until a week ago and now have a brand spankin' new '08 Train. I'm having Vance & Hines (Black) Big Radius exhausts installed so I'm itchin to take it out. I'm 6'1 and liked the feel/reach of the bars when I took it for the initial test.
