I am thinking about buying a night train & wanted to know if anyone here who has one - has issues with the stock handlebars? Alot of people I have talked to say that their hands go numb when riding this bike? I like this bike but due to the weather I have not gotten to test ride it.......ANYONE?
It's a matter of fitment with you and the bike. If you don't have long arms the stock bars may not work for you. That's the same of any Harley or any other brand out there. Motorcycles are not one size fits all. A change of bars makes a world of difference. I've owned several different Harley's and the Train is the best one I've had yet. Wouldn't let a change of bars deter me from buying one. yes i changed mine. It was the 1st thing I did the day I got the bike.
I'm 6'1", could reach the orig. bars fine... but wanted a more
"reclined" position riding so one of my first purchases was
a Dyna Wide Glide's handlebars.. very comfortable for me.
Doooooo it!!! Check out the night train picture thread!!! Not too many pictures...alot of bullshit, and tons of awesome people!! Good times on a night train.
But besides all that, i never really liked harleys untill i got to sit on my night train, really agressive ride and stance. I put some black bassani pro street turn outs and they look and sound amazing. If you get a night train, everything that comes in chrome also comes in black for us now!
No Prob with the stock bars, Im only 5'9" and I have to bars twisted down which stretches me out a bit more. I dont like the 6 inch risers though, may get 4" and powder coat black.
