I went with 18's and love them.

 

16's here. I've done 400 miles straight (stopping for gas of course) with no problems. I'm 5'10". I think mine are 37" wide

 

I had 16"s on my previous bike and being 6' they were about shoulder height which felt perfect, of course like CNCwheelguy said you can put 'em straight up and that'll make 'em feel taller

I got 14" LA Chopper apes. I think they look perfect since they are alittle smaller than 16's so u can keep em like strait up and they still ride compfortablyl.

 

20" with 4" rise...I'm 6'5"...
