+1 on American Classic Motors. Have purchased from them a couple of times and they're great. They ship quick and have good deals.
However, if you wanna use it for solo riding, why not get a solo seat, i.e. bare bones?
Your bike, your money, your seat. Just curious.
please beware of american classic motors. many posts have been created discussing their business practices. research further... i've attached a link to one of the threads. there are others as well...
Ecoli, the Silhouette comes in a 2 up and a solo version. I have the Silhouette Solo and i love it, its got the gel padding and just went for my first ride on it and it was so much more comfortable than stock. Sits me down into the bike alot better and i dont slide around at all. Havent put too many miles on it yet so cant give you any info about long rides, but its a really good seat. Take a look at the corbin hollywood solo seat too, much better than lepara though, amazing seat too
Just put a Silhouette gel solo on my Train...only put a couple 100 miles on it so far, butI like it a lot and see no problem with doing distance on it...btw, I got it from Eastern Performance here, can't beat the price, no shipping fee, and it was at my door 2 days after I ordered.
I would like to clear something up about the Lepara Silhouette
The Lepara Silhouette is not a two up seat, Some on here has said its not comfortable and one said its a two upthe Lepara (Call Them if you like) is a one up seat the back pad is not supposed
to carry a passengerit is for looks onlythey make a Silhouette Deluxe that is a two up seat... Corbin makes a good seat but to say you cant compare them (you better do your homework) to a Lepara i have been riding both seats on many many bikes they are both very good seats.
