I saw one of those mounted on a Xbones at the dealer yesterday. I wonder if I could replace the stock one with this one on my Softail Custom.

It can be installed without the quick release and the relo kit.... I got some chrome allen bolts, and 1/2" chrome spacers from Harley. Took the quick release mech off, and grinded about 1/4" off. Worked out great..

Congrats on the new XBoner!
I just recieved a Harley Parts & Accessories catalog in the mail today and they have some nice pictures of the Crossbones all done up. They have a passenger pillion and a really cool lookin backrest too.
Have fun making the bike your own!
i'm looking forward to flipping through that catalogue. too bad that backrest requires the rear turn signals to be relocated...
Congrats on the new Bike.... Waiting on the weather to change and my pipes to come in. I had reservations about the seat to but it is
very comfortable. I will be adding the rear pillar and backrest (with WG's mod). Only got about 100 miles on mine... Damn weather won't co-operate...
That is an awesome looking machine...congrats! Is the pinstriping stock, or did you have the added on already? I've yet to see a CB in person. I'm looking forward to it.
the pinstripe is stock. all crossbones come with it. pinstripe colour changes according to base paint colour. it would be nice if hd changed up the pinstripe design on every other bike or something like that...

i like your mod but i would really like to have the capability of removing the sissy bar whenever i get sick of it. how does the relocation thing work with the quick release? where do the signal lights end up...
Well I have short bolts too for those days I wanna ride without it... It's a 5 min job over a 15 sec. job. Well worth my time not to have those ugly relocation posts on my beauty..
