about the last post it was ment to be a 2006 vivid black softail deluxe not what ever i put, now for my question can any deluxe owners out there give me there view on the bike "i really love the nostagic look of this bike".[sm=feedback.gif]
Ahhh, see. I KNEW you were a smarter man than that!
<just teasing FBs!>
There's been quite a bit of discussion on the FLSTN. Most people are getting it for the nostalgic look. Check-out the photo gallery for some AWESOME customs/accessories that have been done.
Most folks think that the original pipes are too quiet. I have very wonderful but very elderly neighbors, so I don't mind tooooo much, but I'm starting to get the itch to have something that can rumble when I want it to out on the road.
I don't know of anyone that has a working FLSTN fuel gauge, so always set your tripometer.
Some folks love the factory seat, others don't. NOBODY likes the factory passenger pillion (for comfort that is). So if the Ms. will be riding then you need to change it to the touring pillion right away! Seriously! Make it the first change and life will go well for you on the road. ("If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy....")
I think everything else is kind of a "it's your bike, make it yours" type thing. If you have any questions, just ask.
