Default need Fatboy advise
so I finally decided to get a Harley and narrowed it down to a Fatboy.

would it be worth the cash to buy a 07 or newer since it has the 96 in and the 6 speed?

or get an older one and add to it?

it was worth it for me to get a new '08.

well I want to be able to go on longer rides than I could on my sportbike (I'll get bashed for admitting that, but hey I finally came around) and dont want to be left behind the pack.

what I'm really asking is the 96 that much more powerfull than the 88 ?

is there that much diffrence?

lets say I can get an 05 for $13,000 or a 07 for $17,500, should I spent the diffrence on mods over the next few months?

go with the 05. with 3500 you can do an awesome 95" build and chrome it out.

sometimes we keep our boat out there at the lake. My daughter is moving to medicine park next month.

If you go the 07 just remember you need about 1000 more for stage 1 or it will burn you and the engine. Go 09 water cooled.

08 Fatboys are nice, since they out if they didnt give you a HUGE deal over and above an 08... on the 07..i'd just buy an 08
