100% Speedo issue. Fitted a 74471-03 Speedo/Tacho combo. Steady as a rock.
PLUS Tacho which confirmed my suspicions that tickover was WAY too high and was correct to have reduced it.
The GPS thing is on hold for a while - as I'm waiting to see whether U-Blox do a GPS/Sensor unit with pulse per metre output. Basically it automatically recalibrates the gearbox sensor so that it's correct when there is no GPS signal. If not then the plan is to let a Race-Logic GPSTran drive the OEM speedo and fit a Motogadget-mini display into the handlebarclamp driven off the OEM sensor (or a wheel sensor) for tunnels etc.
