Sweet lookin' scoot ya got...
I bought my Samson exhaust from eBay but I would go to www.fuelmotousa.com to buy a fuel management module, they will pre-map the sucker for ya, just tell Jamie what pipes and A/C you have and they will do the rest.
Got my PCIII for just under $300US dollars...
I bought a fUEL PAK for my Springer Classic off E-Bay. I had no problems. My problem is I'm not real satisfied with the performance of the Fuel Pak. I lost about 7 hp. I called Fuel Pak folks and I got a set of new numbers. It run cooler and my gas milage is about the same. I get about 42 to 43 mpg on the highway, 38 around town. My exhaust is dark and rich looking. I haven't gotten around to playing with the number on the sheet. It would help if I new which way was lean. I assume the lower number is lean. I also get a little decel popping and onsomtimes a big snap, not a backfire. I'm running V&H Fishtails and K&N filter. I thinkI would have gone with the more exspensive programable style that youcan re-map on you PC. Nice Bike, Hope its getting warm up there. Dallas NC.
thanks for the comments on my bike guys.....youall don't know how fortunate you are to be living in a warmer climate...ha ha....i'll check out fuelmoto,i guess the only reason i was considering the fuelpak was it's simplicity...i'm pretty computer ill-literate at those pc111's and other higher tech fuel managment devices kinda intimidate me...i don't want to f*&k the bike up or blow it up....
I can't speak for the fuelpak specifically, but I've bought a ton of stuff off of eBay for my FB. Even when our dollar was sucking wind a year or so back, I was still saving money. If you've any experience buying on eBay, then you know the tricks. Check the vendor's rating, review their feedback, and be sure to verify shipping carrier and costs. (carriers like UPS & FedEx will nail you with "brokerage fees" and crap like that...I prefer USPS...I've never had any probs...)
