the armycan make you wear gloves?,i have alot of pals in forces that dont never heard such a thing? here is the thing i wanna know , i hope all who wears gloves to save fingers are wearing a helmet , cuz the lil wear on the hands aint nutten compared to the road and the skull, i see alot of people wearing gloves to save their hands and wear no helmets ,its funny, i dont wear a helmet ,but do wear gloves in cold temps at night to keep chill off fingers more than protection. everyone have a safe riding season and keep the dirty side down
I guess your planning on a closed casket funeral or cremation if you go down, huh?
why would you 'palm' a wasp??? I've hit my fair share of bugs and dirt. without a windshield, everything seems to hit me. I can't say I've ever tried to catch anything, though..
because i live in so fla, i never wear gloves. when i lived up north i used regular leather gloves with a gel insert for long rides and in the dead of winter i used a gauntlet style glove to keep the wind from shooting up the sleeve of my coat. funny thing is, when i went accross country to arizona, in july, it was 117 degrees. i saw a biker wearing gloves and my wife and i laughed. a few miles later i had blisters on my knuckles from the dry, hot air 9they got cooked, literally)...guess whos laughing now...lol
I live in SW Florida and always wear gloves. Bought them from Fox Creek. They are the short lambskin driving gloves, with a velcro retainer strap. http://www.foxcreekleather.com/210.html

I live in Virginia so we never have the extreme temps for long...rarely gets horribly hot or frigid cold, and if it does, it's gone quickly. I guess that makes it a lot easier to wear gloves when riding...it's not as hot here. Plus, if I hit the parkway, which is close to here, the temps can be 10-15 degrees cooler than where I live.
Always wear gloves. Fingerless HD gloves in the summer. I also have a pair of TourMasters with mesh between the fingers for cooler temps and full HD gauntlets for the winter.
