It was pretty easy once I "adjusted" the holes justa bit. As you said, there may be slight variations on the pipes and the bikes, just enought to skew the pipes a tad. Also, my mechanical skills are very weak, so its a good chance the mechanic could use a little more schoolin' as well!
I don't know what the big deal is with V & H's on the fit. It's just the bracket. No stress on the pipes and they fit perfect. Kudos again to Rocketman for making the brackets. I now have a real Harley
