What about some of the other Vance & Hines pipes for softails. Do they not fit simply because of this same bracket issue? I thought a set of black staggered short shots would look sweet on my black rocker.
Bike looks great with those pipes...SWEET! I really love that color blue...MAN, the more I see these Rockers, the more they get my blood flowin'...great looking bike and cool design...
those pipes look bad a$$
i cant wait to get them on my red rockerc
i dont know if i should wait or order the bracket
from rm69 from the sound of it v&h is droppin the ball
shaweeeeeeet lookin dawg i cant wait to hear dem pipes
also dawg: how bad do you think your scoot needs that sert kit?
thanks
ps your grass looks good too
Thanks for the compliment on the grass Its zyosia (sp), like bermuda, goes dormant in the winter, and is now coming back to its natural green color.
As for the race tuner, it is in dire need. I rode it around the hood last night and it has a lot of back-fire and other assorted misses during decel. I'm going for a straight map for awhile, and will eventually get her tuned when I have a little more time.
As for the sound, very deep and fairly loud, like I like it!!
I am going to take the reflectors off today. No need for them.

Almost forgot, order the bracket. I just dont know what V&H is waiting on.
After seeing yours I've just sold myself on a set of the newV&H BR2-1. I really like the V&H BR2-2 like yours but just to be different I think I'll go w/the 2-1. What is the big deal everyone is talking about with aftermarket pipes on the Rockers?

The issue is the same on any pipe that uses the factory rear mounting location on the frame. Since the frame of the Rocker is so much wider in the rear, the normal Softail brackets will not work with the Rocker. Those who have installed any type of 2-1 pipes don't notice the problem as much as the 2-2 guys because you can usually just bend the supplied bracket and the pipe will bolt up, albeit perhaps with some more stress on the pipes. But the 2-2 pipes will never align properly without a properly spaced bracket. Unfortunately, the Big Radius 2-2 bracket that I make will only work with those pipes, on this particular bike. I have considered making brackets for other pipes, but making one-off brackets won't be as cost effective, not to mention the fact that I don't have the money to do R&D on several sets of pipes. Buying pipes just to build a bracket that I may only sell one or two of is not a very good business decision. However, if someone wants a different set of pipes on their Rocker, I would consider making a bracket on a case by case basis. The person requesting would need to supply me with the bracket that comes with their pipes, and understand the price would not be as low as what I've been able to charge for the Big Radius bracket. Anyone who is interested in this offer should send me an email.
I had the SERT installed today. Runs better but still getting some decel popping. I'll wait till my first serve to get her dyno tuned. I have about 600 miles now, so when she gets to 1,000, I'll get it done. My first service was included in the cost of the bike, so the financial hit will not be too bed. Probably between $200-$300 for the tune.
