Ive been finding the bars on my standard a little cramped for me, Ive been offered some softail deluxe risers and bars cheap. Would these fit? Any views would be appreciated. thanks
I was able to get the bar on my FatBoy to the correct position by just adding the pullback riser from a Softail Deluxe.
Stock cables worked fine, and now I can sit in my normal 'laid back' position and the grip position is perfect.
Not sure how the setup is on the Standard, but with a little measurement you should be able to determine if the Deluxe riser, or bar (or both) will fit without any problems.
I found the bars on my standard to not be the most comfortable either, I put 14" apes on mine and love them,it helped that I know some guys with bikes and was able to get on there bikes and try theres, drag bars beach bars apes ect, apes fit me the best
