Default Cobra 2 headlight

My bulb blew last night, anyone have any tips in switching it. They are supposedly loctited in..... That's great, loctite on a glass bulb. Any hints would be useful.

Thanks

Mine wasn't loctited in. It did have a little dab of silicon on it though. I think that helped with the vibration. Should just pull right out.

The part I can get out is the lens, do I unscrew the clear lens (the part the tech said had loctite) or the chrome ring inside the visor? I tried to unscrew it and it did not budge. The tech also told me to put the whole assembly in the oven at 200F to loosen the loctite?? I'm not into baking my parts at this point. Any pointers?

There are 2 rings; the chrome outer ring for asthetics, and an inner ring that actually holds the lens assembly in place.

For the outer ring I just use my thumbs to unscrew it.

On the front of the inner ring, there are 3 holes. I insert small metal punches in two of these holes and use them to turn the inner ring.
