Default I think I'm going Ape

Attitudes change and mine has about apes. Never had a strong opinion one way or the other but they just weren't for me. Until now.

I want to put 12.5" Wild1's with 1 1/2" risers on my Deluxe. I also am going to change the cables. Didn't have to/want to when I put on the HD narrow beach bars and HD fat bar risers (which will befor sale). I'm wondering how much longer on each of thecables? What are the best cables to put on that won't yellow, look good and will last? What do they cost?

Thanks

Thanks Mike NY. That's great info. Already got the control housings and levers chromed. Have grips but thinking of changing them. Are those 12.5" on your Deluxe?

BTW, I think you were one of the first to recommend the Heritage Springer seat. What a difference. Night and day. I lucked out. Called about 25 dealers and found the small back pad in NY. $99 shipped. There was someone asking $225 on Ebay. What a gouge but not as bad as the bozo who has the tall pad on their for $400.

go with Sterling Magnum Chromite cables. If you want chrome that is. they are the ones that make them for harley, only cheaper. They just can't come out and say it. [&:]
Got 'em on my fatty, and they look great.
